So we finally got to do the pumpkin patch visit that all families do out here! We went on Saturday afternoon with our playgroup families. It was kind of sad because Susan and Alex are moving next week, so it was sort of a goodbye get together. :( I am looking at it this way: now we have one more place to visit where we know people...New Orleans! Before we went to the patch, we drove through Richard Bong State Park. It is not very far from Silver Lake. We will definitely have to go there again...it was very pretty. Carter was SOOO tired from his day that he fell asleep in the stroller as we walked back from Dairy Queen. We undressed him, put him on the couch and he just kept sleeping! He fell asleep around 6pm and was in bed around 6:30pm. Unfortunately he was up around 5:30 this morning, but he did sleep through the night! Because of our early morning, we were able to get a lot of housework/painting done today...YEAH! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Enjoy the pics!
