Snow Day!

We had a very busy last couple days. Grandpa Russ's cousin Teri and her husband Dan came over for dinner on Saturday night. We all had a great time and Carter behaved wonderfully. Teri and Dan are also going to babysit Jasper for us when we come back to Washington for Christmas. On Sunday, Mommy and Daddy's friends Dan and Clara and their daughter Annalise came for dinner. Carter enjoyed all the new faces this weekend...especially Annalise who he smiled at all Sunday night. Today we had an ice storm warning and the roads were pretty bad so Daddy stayed home with Mommy and Carter. Daddy also got to play out in the garage for quite awhile. We plan on staying in this evening and watching the snow/ice accumulate. Below are some pics from the last couple days...enjoy!

It keeps snowing here...so Mommy and Carter have been staying inside. We have about 6 inches now and more to come tonight. This weekend Grandpa Russ's cousin Teri and her husband Dan are coming over to dinner. We have not seen them in quite awhile because we all have been busy...so we are excited to be able to visit with them. We also are going to try and get some shopping done. A couple snow pics!

We got about 5-6 inches of snow last night! I thought everyone would enjoy the pics. They keep the roads really well plowed out here...anything is better than how the city of Moscow plowed!! Let it Snow!

We have had a great week and weekend! Daddy got home from Ohio late on Tuesday night and we have been busy ever since. We had a winter storm warning for Saturday and Saturday night...but only got about an inch and a half. Carter has been having trouble sleeping at night, so all three of us have been very tired. Last night was the first night in almost two weeks that Carter only woke up once during the night...hopefully this is permanent (knock on wood). Everything else is going pretty good. We got some shopping done this weekend and enjoyed being home. In some other news...Uncle Mark and Aunt Kayla found out they were having a little boy, not a little girl!! Luckily they found out now and not when the bundle of joy was born in February. Carter is very excited to have a cousin that is only going to be 6 months younger than him! The two little guys are going to have a blast together. I have a lot of pictures to post, so I hope you all enjoy them!

Back online!

So we are FINALLY back online...kind of. Daddy's computer took a dump, so we are currently using Mommy's old laptop that she bought when she was in college. Mommy has not had very much time to snap pictures or write a long blog...so she is just going to add a few new ones and one special old one. Our Thanksgiving was AWESOME! We had a lot of fun with Jake and Chelsea. We are very glad they are in our area and were able to spend a couple days with us. Pretty soon we are going to make a road trip to Madison to visit them. Anyhoo...a crying baby is calling, so I must wrap this up. We will post more as we have time!! Enjoy the pics...

Computer Problems

We have been having computer issues...so we have been unable to post new pics. I am going to try and post some pics later today. Daddy is in Ohio for a couple days, so Mommy and Carter are flying solo! Hopefully I will have time to post pictures later today when Carter is sleeping!!

Thanksgiving Week!

Yeah...Thanksgiving is almost here!! Mommy is trying to get the house clean and ready for our guests Jake and Chelsea. This weekend Mommy, Daddy, and Carter went to Toys R Us and the mall to do some shopping for Carter's new cousin. She will be making an appearance in February and Mommy had lots of fun shopping at the Carter's Outlet store for her (Carter likes it there because of the name!). Mommy and Daddy got to go out to lunch and to World Market to buy some good wine. Carter did great at lunch until Mommy had to take him to the bathroom and change him and ladies in there kept flushing the toliet and terrifying Carter. He went into STAGE 8 meltdown and could only be calmed down by Mommy feeding him out in the car. After that he was great and even flirted with the ladies at Hallmark. Mommy put up the Christmas tree a little early this year (November 12th) because we are heading back to Washington for Christmas on December 18th. Mommy LOVES her Christmas tree and decorations, so she really wanted to enjoy them while she could. Below are some pics including one of the tree. Back in Wisconsin!!!

Carter and Mommy are finally back in Wisconsin! Daddy was VERY happy to see us...but I think he does miss the sleep he got while we were gone! The trip was FANTASTIC and much needed for Mommy. Below are some pics of Carter in his WSU Cougar gear from before we left and the others are our first weekend back in Wisconsin. This week and this weekend will be spent getting ready for Mommy and Daddy's friends Jake and Chelsea to come and spend Thanksgiving with us! Daddy met Jake at University of Idaho and was in Jake and Chelsea's wedding in May. Now they are living in Madison, WI while Jake works on his PhD. They are only about an hour and a half away!!! We can't wait for them to come down and spend the holiday with us!

PS I weighed Carter at playgroup today.... 14 pounds 13 ounces!

So I had to post two more funny pics. Tonight Mommy and Carter went to Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's to say goodbye. :( But we had a great dinner and visited with them and Aunt Mistie. Now we are at Grandma and Grandpa Hovey's doing last minute stuff. But I HAD to post these pics of Carter watching the Bulls game with Grandpa Russ. Mommy and Grandma Mary were soo tired they laughed for 20 minutes over big boy Carter sitting up on the couch with Grandpa Russ. I guess you had to see it in person to really think it was hilarious (we are pretty tired)....enjoy!

Today is our last day in Washington. Mommy is trying to pack all her and Carter's CRAP into two suitcases. Grandma Mary is going to have to ship some stuff out to Wisconsin for us. She got two BIG tubs of clothes from her friend Michelle and Mommy likes all those clothes!! Last night Carter puked a couple times, so we had to give him a bath. He enjoyed his bath soo much that he thought he should try and get another one by POOPING ON HIS TOWEL RIGHT AFTER HE GOT OUT!! Mommy, Grandma Mary, and Aunt Kayla laughed all night about it! Today we are saying bye to Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and Uncle Trevor and Aunt Mistie. Tomorrow morning we will off to Wisconsin bright and early. We hope all our friends and family enjoyed our visit and we can't wait until Daddy can come back with us on December 18th. (Grandma Mary already has a countdown going...39 days!) Thanks for the great trip everyone!
