Double fisting!

As many of you know...Carter loves to eat. I often feel like all I do is feed him all day. I have talked to the pediatrician about this numerous times and she keeps reassuring me that it is normal...he is growing and his weight and height are perfect. We are feeding him the healthiest foods which in turns helps us eat healthier too. I took some pics of him "double fisting" and I hope you all like it! This week Carter's friend Carson stopped by because they were in the area. They have played together since they were 3-4 months old. They always have fun together. On Tuesday it was 60 here!!! We went to the library story time and met up with our friends so the kids could play on the playground. Carter went down the big boy slide by himself for the first time and quickly became addicted to it. Yesterday we met up with some of our playgroup friends Carson, Lily, Maya, and Charlie. We try to get together once a week...it is nice for the kids and the moms! This weekend we are probably going to hang around the house and maybe take Carter to the free Dinosaur museum or the free Civil War museum in Kenosha. I hope you enjoy the pics!

Carter and Carson.

Carson is always generous enough to share his food with Carter.

I have two forks!

Experience the Titanic!

We had a really fun weekend! On Saturday it was around 48 degrees, which meant Carter could go outside and play and Daddy could get some work done in the garage. It was really nice to be outside, hear the birds chirping, and see parts of our lawn again. On Sunday we went to the Milwaukee Public Museum to see the Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition with Jake and Chelsea. Here is the website about it http://www.mpm.edu/titanic/ it was REALLY neat. I found it amazing to look at these artifacts that had been on this ship, under the water for so many years, and now beautifully preserved. We saw stuff like passanger's luggage, dishes, money (yes, paper money too), shoes, tools, and even a bottle of champagne that still had champagne in it. When you enter the exhibit, they give you a Titanic boarding pass with information about a real passenger that was on board. After the exhibit you can go to a list and see if they survived or were lost. We were not allowed to take pictures in that exhibit, so I only have a couple photos below. The rest of the museum was very cool too. We made it through the dinosaur section and the rainforest section. They also had a separate butterfly exhibit with real butterflies. This was by far Carter's favorite part. He LOVED watching the butterflies all over the place. We had so much fun and can't wait to explore another place with Jake and Chelsea! Hope you enjoy the pics!

Our boarding passes.

Since I couldn't take pics, here are our bracelets.

I LOVE Mommy's homemade chicken burritos!

Plus one more makes four...

Carter wanted to add this message on to everyone...

We just found out. It is still pretty early, but I caved and could not keep the secret. We should be due sometime during the first part of October. The other very cool thing is that Uncle Trevor and Aunt Misty are also pregnant and due at the same time!!!!!! The cousins could have the same birthday. :)

Mommy and Daddy cut my hair off!

Carter got his haircut on Friday...by Mommy and Daddy! We bought some clippers, put the guard on and went to town. It looks okay, from far away. If you get up close, you can probably tell that we did it while he was watching his favorite show Binka. To be honest, it looks fine. I just got sick of having to pay someone to cut it for me! I am also attaching a video of Carter telling us what sounds various animals make. Hope you enjoy!

Like my new do??

I guess it will work guys...but I still get to tear the paper apart!!

I know what I am talking about guys!
