Carter has been trying more and more foods. Some of his new favorites are cottage cheese, grapes, and peaches. Another new favorite he tried tonight was spaghetti. He loved chasing the noodles around the food tray, trying to get them into his mouth and munching on the hamburger. We will see how long these remain on his favorite list. Currently, he is refusing to eat chicken, pork, and sweet potato...all past favorites. Oh well...I will just have to try and keep up. Justin was gone all this week in Denver on a business trip and suprised us by calling tonight and saying he would be home around 11pm rather than tomorrow afternoon...YEAH!!!!! We really miss him when he is gone. Carter doesn't sleep as well at night without him here. Carter's crib is in our room. He spends part of the night in there and part of the night in between us. Some nights he wants to stretch out in his crib and other nights he wants to cuddle with us. If he sleeps almost through the night (1-2 wakeups) in between us rather than up 3-5 times because he is in the crib...it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out where he is going to sleep so we can sleep! :) We live by the rule that we need to enjoy these years of him actually wanting to cuddle and spend time with us...they go by very fast! I have also posted some pics of inside the house. We are painting the outside this summer and will be focusing on inside stuff this winter when we are buried under snow. Enjoy!

Mmmm Mommy, this stuff is good!

Get in my mouth noodle!

He definitely needed a bath tonight.

Notice he had to eat all the noodles first, then focus on the hamburger.

Our newly painted guest room and new bedset. I am going to hang some of our and Trevor's wildlife photos up in here too.

I might need to think about curtains too!

Carter's room. Justin's grandparents gave him the cradle when he was born..ahhhh!

I cannot wait to paint this room this winter.
The most important stuff in Carter's room...books from me and cars from Daddy!

Currently our storage room, it will become a playroom for this winter.

All the stuff will either go to garage sale or into the crawl space. We are thinking of painting it a green, maybe sage, and getting the college couch back from Andy so Carter has a nice play to play.
