Boating!!

The other night, Justin and some of his co-workers were able to take one of the work boats out and we got to watch some boats races on Fox Lake. Two of the boats we watched were Evinrude sponsored, so that was very cool. We parked by an island called Blarney Island...which essentially is a bar...the entire island is just a floating bar. Carter was not sure what to think at first, but after he got used to wearing the life jacket, he had a BLAST! Justin's co-worker John and his wife Kim brought their almost 4 year old son Rex. The two of them had a lot of fun screeching at the boats and running around. We just got back from camping this weekend at Devils Lake State Park and I will try and post those pics in a couple days. Grandma Mary

New York Trip!!!

Carter and I had a BLAST on our trip to New York! We got to visit with all our family, including Grandma and Grandpa Hovey. They met us in Detroit and we all flew to Syracuse together. Our trip follows in the pics below...

On Memorial Day weekend we all went and planted flowers at the family cemetaries. It was Grandma Morrow, Dad, 6 0f his 7 brothers and sisters, and all their families that went. We had quite the caravan!!

After visiting some of the cemetaries, we stopped by the Hovey family camp and had a wonderful lunch. It was so relaxing to sit and visit with everyone. It is always nice to visit here when we are back in NY.

My Great Uncle Bob and Great Aunt Lucy Helen...Grandma Morrow's sister. They were the coolest people and are missed by us all.

Uncle John could not wait to hold Carter! Carter was sleeping in the van and Uncle John waved a mosquito away that was on him and accidently woke him up. :) It was really sweet that Uncle John was so excited to hold him. If Carter only knew how many people adore him!
